Precipitation is rain, snow, sleet, or hail or any kind of weather condition where something’s falling from the sky.

A front is a transition zone between two air masses. A front can be cold or warm. A cold front is a air boundary with the colder air replacing the warmer. A warm front is when a warm air mass is replacing a cold air mass. A cold front causes wind to become gusty and a drop in the temperature. A warm front causes gente rain or light snow and warmer milder weather.

Last, three types of severe storms are tornados, tropical cyclones, extratropical cyclones. Weather satellite collect data. These satellites can tell you the weather at anytime. Also, weather satellites can record a variety of weather and other things like clouds, cloud systems, fire, pollution effects, dust storms, sandstorms, snow, ice caps, ocean currents, volcanic ash in the air, smoke and much more.
