Project Objectives: The Recreation and Wellness Intranet Project is an essential proejct for our organization. We will likely complete this task within six months for close to $200,000. By providing this application on our present Intranet, we can enable employees to enhance their wellbeing, therefore bringing down medicinal services costs and enhance productivity. The application will enable workers to enroll for organizational supported recreational programs, wellbeing related classes and programs, track information on their contribution in said programs, and offer motivation for individuals to join the programs and do well in them.
Success Criteria: The application must meet every specification, be tried and tested, stay inside spending plan, and be finished on time.

Project Title: Recreation and Wellness Intranet Project

Project Justification: Manage Your Health, Inc. (MYH) provides an assortment of healthcare services all over the globe. MYH has more than 20,000 full-time workers and more than 5,000 part-time workers. As of late, MYH refreshed its strategic plan and is getting ready to actualize the Recreation and Wellness Intranet Project that will enable workers to enhance their wellbeing, by means of the present intranet site. The project will take six months to finish, with a financial plan of $200,000. This application will help enhance worker wellbeing inside one year of its rollout with the goal that lower medical coverage premiums can be arranged, giving a net savings of at least $30 per full-time employee every year for the next four years.
Product Characteristics and Requirements:
Templates and Tools: The application will enable employees to register for organization supported recreational programs and wellbeing classes and programs, track information on their association in these recreational and wellbeing programs and offer motivation for individuals to join these programs and do well in them.
Employee interaction: Employees will be urged to utilize the application by offering motivation for their association.
Links: Links to external sites will be tested weekly. If broken, the links will be repaired or removed within three days.
Security: The intranet site will provide many different levels of security. All internal employees will have access to the entire intranet site after entering their login information to access the main, corporate intranet.
Search: The intranet site must have a search feature included, so users can search for keywords with quick results.
The intranet site must be accessible for use with an approved Internet browser. Users must also have suitable application software to open the tools and templates mentioned above.
The intranet site must be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with 2 hours each week set aside for routine upkeep and other intermittent maintenance.

Summary of Project Deliverables
Project management-related deliverables: business case, charter, team contract, scope statement, work breakdown structure (WBS), schedule, cost baseline, status reports, final project presentation, final project report, lessons-learned report, and any additional supporting documents required to manage the project.
Product-related deliverables: research reports, design documents, software code, hardware, etc.
Survey: A survey will be created and have employee input to assess the application’s user-friendliness.
Links: The intranet site will include many links and brief descriptions for several useful sites. The links will be categorized into meaningful classifications.
Articles: The intranet site will include many useful health improvement articles for employees to reference and use.
User requests feature: The intranet site will include an application to ask for and process requests from users.
Promotion: A plan for promoting the intranet site internally and externally will describe various approaches for soliciting inputs during design. The promotion plan will also announce the availability of the new intranet site.
