METHODS: Cross-sectional study using a self-administered short questionnaire sf-36 that was completed by CD patients in Saudi Arabia. The researchers conducted the study using a self-directed survey questionnaire sf-36, completed by patients or their parents. The subjects in the study are all patients with celiac disease who meet the criteria. the 36 SF questionnaires were sent to one of the well-known social groups for the defense of celiac groups. There are more than 600 patients throughout the kingdom who are connected to this patient advocacy group. the questionnaire was sent anonymously and each patient voluntarily answered the questionnaire. The responses of young children were requested by their parents. inclusion criteria: men and women of Saudi nationality diagnosed with celiac disease and who agreed to participate in the survey, excluding patients with neurological communication abnormalities malignant diseases intestinal diseases chronic renal failure or diseases chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, because they can in the accuracy and validity of the results. An online version of the abbreviated version of the sf-36 survey has been tested on a local community of people with celiac disease online and has shown its reliability and validity as a measure of quality of life. 22
