people pay attention on daily weather changes and how the weather will be
through the week or the month, but do we pay attention on climate change how it
affects our lives. Did we ask ourselves what are the causes
of climate change? How climate change impacts our activities? Can we do
something to solve this big issue before to turn to a big disaster?  These questions make me think deeply how we
work to solve this problem because the earth is the only place so far we can live
on it.  Climate change has become a
worldwide problem and this issue affects human lives, environment, social and
economic. The change in climate has serious impacts on our natural ecosystem
and as human we should face it before causing great catastrophe such as water
availability, agriculture, rising sea levels and health. Many
studies recognize that sign of change is increasing in average temperatures,
snow and rainfall, patterns are shifting, and extreme climate events are
becoming more common in our days. These changes are expected
to grow if we don’t solve the issues or the causes of climate change.

what is climate change? Climate change is an imbalance in typical climatic
conditions such as heat, wind patterns and precipitation that characterize
every region on earth. When
we talk about climate change at the global level, we mean changes in the
Earth’s climate in general. The
pace and magnitude of long-term global climate changes have enormous impacts on
natural ecosystems.

what are the causes of climate change? Natural phenomena such
as volcanic eruptions or variations in the intensity of solar radiation are
probable causes. However;  The presence
of natural cover of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere keeps the planet warm
enough for life, as we know it, but the emission of greenhouse gases caused by
human made the cover thicker, so stores heat and leads to global warming.
Fossil fuels are the single largest source of man-made greenhouse gases. The
burning of coal, oil and natural gas releases billions of tons of carbon each
year, which would otherwise have been hidden in the ground, as well as large
amounts of methane and nitrous oxide. More carbon dioxide is released when
trees are cut down and no trees are planted. At the same time, large chunks of
livestock are emitted from methane, methane is also emitted from rice farms and
landfills, and nitrous oxide is produced from the use of fertilizers.
Long-lived gases such as CFCs, HFCs and PFCs used for air conditioning and
refrigeration are produced by industry and ultimately enter the atmosphere.  (The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change).Certain human activities are today the first cause of this increase of
the phenomenon. The buildings and the exaggerated consumption of energy
are the main ones. In areas such as the Polar Regions, energy is used
extensively for home heating. Human Influences on Global Warming
Human influence has been a very serious issue now because human do not take
care the earth. Older engines, especially those used in developing countries in
particular, emit a lot of gases that contribute to the destruction of the ozone
layer. These are all parts of society whose operations need to be

Thirdly, what are the consequences of climate change?
Climate change is not a small difference in climate patterns. Temperatures
will lead to changes in weather patterns such as wind patterns, the amount of
precipitation and species,
as well as the types and frequency of several possible climatic events. Climate
change in this way can have profound environmental, social and economic
consequences and is unpredictable. Some
possible consequences are:

1. Loss
of drinking water stock Within 50 years, the number of people suffering from
drinking water shortages will increase from 5 billion to 8 billion people.
2. The decline
of the agricultural crop It is obvious that any change in the overall climate
to be affected by local agriculture and thus reducing the stock of food.
3. Decreasing
soil fertility and worsening erosion: Changing
plant habitats, increasing drought and changing precipitation patterns will
exacerbate desertification. The
use of chemical fertilizers will be automatically increased indirectly and
toxic contamination will be exacerbated.
4. Pests
and diseases: High
temperatures are favorable conditions for the spread of pests and insects
carrying diseases such as mosquitoes carrying malaria.
5. High
sea level: The
warming of the world will extend the mass of ocean waters, in addition to the
melting of large glaciers such as Greenland, which is expected to raise the sea
level from 0.1 to 0.5 meters by the middle of the century. This potential rise
will pose a threat to coastal communities and their cultivation, as well as
freshwater resources on the coast and the presence of some islands that will be
6. Frequent
climatic disaster: The
high frequency of droughts, floods, storms and others harms communities and
their economies.
has never faced such a huge environmental crisis. Ironically, developing
countries with less responsibility for climate change will suffer the worst
consequences. We
are all responsible for seeking to stop this problem immediately. If
we fail to take action now to stop global warming, we may suffer irreversible

Finally the solution to stop climate change, since
the burning of fossil fuels is the main source of greenhouse gases; we should
reduce our dependence on oil as a primary source of energy. Alternative solutions
exist: “peaceful” renewable energy and rational use of energy.
offers a range of alternative options for energy production. As
energy conservation is rationalized, renewable energy resources such as sun,
air, waves and biomass provide efficient, reliable and environmentally friendly
sources to generate the energy we need and the quantities we want.
implementation of these solutions will not require any concession by citizens
to their lifestyles, but will enable them to enter a new era of energy that
will bring them economic prosperity, employment opportunities, technological
development and environmental protection.
will focus on alternative solutions available to suppliers with the most
advanced technologies in this field

Earth receives enough solar radiation to meet the growing demand for solar
systems. The
proportion of sunlight that reaches the Earth’s surface is enough to provide
the world’s energy needs 3000 times. Each
square meter of land is exposed to the sun, on average, enough to generate 1700
kWh of energy each year. The
sun is converted to electricity and the direct current that is generated is stored in
batteries or converted to a current on the grid through an electrical

mirrors focus the sunlight in a single line or point. The heat produced is
used to generate steam. Hot
steam is used to run turbines that generate electricity. In sun-flooded areas,
solar thermal power plants provide large amounts of electricity. A
study conducted by Greenpeace under the title “Solar thermal power plants
2020” in cooperation with the European solar thermal industry concluded
that the amount of solar energy produced around the world could reach 54
billion kWh by 2020. In 2040, it is possible to generate more than 20% of total
electricity demand.

use of wind power has reached advanced stages. Air power is a
comprehensive phenomenon and the most renewable sources of renewable energy
based on modern technology clean, effective, sustainable, and no pollution. The
current wind turbines are very sophisticated technology – they are adjustable,
easy to install and operate, and are able to generate more than 200 times the
power of the world today.

conclusion, we need to take part and try to stop global warming and other
effects on climate change. If the earth’s temperatures continue to rise in the
future, living things on earth would become extinct due to the high
temperatures. If humans contribute to control global warming, this world would
be cooler and the high temperatures we currently have would decrease. If
everybody as one take stand and try to end most of the climate changes that are
occurring, this world would be a safer place to live on.
